Restorative Practice Training
Restorative Practice (RP) is to prevent the harm happening in the first place by developing a culture where everyone has a voice, in a no blame/no shame culture; creating horizontal communication platforms within vertical organisations. Restorative Practices build skills to reduce tensions and resolve conflict. RP works ‘with’ people rather than having power over them or doing things for them … creating a third way between ‘do as I say’ and ‘do what you want’. It invites accountability and resilience, building collaborative and autonomous teams. It aligns people’s behaviours with their organisation’s values. Whether you are an HR professional wanting more effective processes in your organisation, a teacher wanting to develop a just and equitable culture in your school, an executive wanting to develop your leadership or you would just like to up-skill personally or professionally this would benefit you.
