Restorative Practice Training and Implementation Course
Aim
The aim of this course is to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to be competent and confident entry-level restorative practitioners, and to begin to develop a strategic implementation plan.
Objectives
1. To provide participants with a solid grounding in the philosophical and theoretical underpinnings of restorative practice
2. To build participants’ understanding of the benefits, the boundaries and the opportunities for working restoratively
3. To develop the skills to undertake good quality restorative enquiry and facilitate good quality restorative meetings
4. To identify opportunities to apply restorative thinking and practice in their role
5. To begin to develop a restorative implementation plan.
