Youth Justice Forum
Join Why me? on the 29th of October for our monthly Youth Justice Forum from 12pm - 1pm.
This event will be run by Ben Andrew, Campaigns and Communications Manager for Why me?, a national charity that campaigns for and delivers Restorative Justice (RJ). Why me? delivers RJ through our Restorative Justice service, and campaigns for greater provision of RJ across the country, especially for groups that do not receive equal access to restorative services at the moment.
This Youth Justice forum is a monthly knowledge exchange opportunity to meet those working in Youth Offending teams, to learn and share knowledge as well as stay up to date with what is happening in the Restorative Justice community, hear from key speakers and engage in lively and relevant discussion.
This month they will be joined by Anna McMorrin, Labour MP and Shadow Minister for Victims and Youth Justice. Anna will share her views on the changes needed to the Youth Justice system, how we can better support victims, and the role that Restorative Justice could play. She is then keen to have a conversation with attendees to hear their questions and insights.
