Forum meeting for restorative practitioners – Kent and Medway

Kent Mediation is hosting a forum meeting for restorative practitioners in Kent and Medway.

Kent Mediation is hosting a forum meeting for restorative practitioners in Kent and Medway.

Guest speaker at the meeting will be Linda Millington, the standards, quality assurance and accreditation manager for the Restorative Justice Council.

Linda has been working with the restorative practice field since 2010. While working for Skills for Justice she led on the development of the restorative practice National Occupational Standards and managed a pilot of the Level 4 Diploma in restorative practice. This pilot led to the first practitioners in the UK gaining a nationally recognised competency-based qualification in restorative practice.

Linda leads the RJC's standards work, managing their accreditation schemes. She has also worked as a restorative practitioner in Sussex and currently in Kent.

The Forum is now a regular event, providing a platform to support practitioners, share ideas and information, consider issues around supervision and help to inform best practice generally across Kent and Medway.

Tea and Coffee will be available from 10.00am.
