 5 hour CPD workshop will provide an exploratory sp
 ace in which practitioners can learn and practice 
 a variety of creative exercises to be integrated i
 nto their own restorative practice.<br />\n <br />
 \n Practitioners will be invited to participate in
  and learn creative exercises with the intention t
 hat these can later be introduced into restorative
  processes with clients. The creative exercises wi
 ll be interspersed with brief visual presentations
  which will contain the theory and research behind
  using art and design based approaches within rest
 orative practice. In particular\, participants wil
 l learn how creative approaches have the potential
  to enhance dialogues as well as healing.<br />\n 
 <br />\n You don’t need to have any prior experien
 ce or knowledge of art and design or of using art 
 materials in order to take part - just enthusiasm 
 and curiosity!<br />\n <br />\n Learning outcomes:

 ses to takeaway and use with clients<br />\n <br /
 >\n - A basic knowledge of the research and theory
  behind using art and design approaches within res

 tanding of how art and design approaches can provi
 de more inclusive and accessible spaces for restor

 ed the following basic materials to hand (found in
  most offices and many homes) in order to fully pa
 rticipate in the workshop as we are meeting online
 :<br />\n <br />\n - Several sheets of paper or ca
 rd<br />\n <br />\n - 1 pencil<br />\n <br />\n - 
 1 pen<br />\n <br />\n - 3 or more coloured pencil
 s (in different colours)<br />\n <br />\n - 3 or m
 ore felt tip pens or marker pens or highlighting p

 , a freelance researcher\, practitioner and co-fou
 nder and Director-Practitioner of Space2face resto
 rative practices and arts charity in Shetland\, Sc
 otland. Clair has over 20 years of experience in w
 orking in the field of restorative practices\, wit
 h a focus on using art and design in restorative p
 rocesses. She has pioneered the use of art and des
 ign as an intrinsic part of restorative processes 
 and has authored several academic articles and boo
 k chapters on her practice and research.<br />\n <
