Call for Contributions – Resolution Magazine
The RJC’s quarterly magazine, Resolution, explores some of the key debates in restorative practice and provides examples of restorative practice in action. Over the years, we have attracted a range of interesting and insightful contributors who have written about some of the key innovations and debates in the restorative practice field.
Please remember, we’re not only interested in the application of restorative justice/practice within the criminal justice system but other areas too, including health, education, workplace and new and emerging practices.
We know that the most effective way of raising awareness of, and support for, restorative justice is by telling the stories of those who have benefitted from it. Our members have put us in touch with the people whose cases they have facilitated. These compelling, real-life stories are key to our work in raising the profile of restorative practice in the media and with the public. We are keen to ensure that we maintain an up-to-date library of case studies that consistently reflect the work being undertaken across the restorative sector.
Contributions can also relate to the latest academic research, national policy and/or practice developments from across the UK and wider international restorative community. We’re also keen to publish articles written for practitioners by practitioners. You can read more about the types of articles we are seeking below:
PRACTICE ARTICLES:
Thought pieces, best practice articles, new approaches, technologies and techniques, research reports, legal and regulatory updates, and other contributions written by practitioners. All practice articles must address the following questions: What has worked? Why has it worked? What lessons were learnt? How could it be done elsewhere?
Articles should be between 1,500 to 2,000 words in length.
CASE STUDIES:
